Doctoral Researcher
CDT in NLP

My name is Oghenetekevwe, which for most people is really hard to pronounce so I also go by ‘Tek’ - which for most people is not really hard to pronounce. I’m an MScR student with Frank where I’m exploring inductive biases in concept learning and generalisation. My main research interest is in computational models of development (especially for language acquisition), but I’m also interested in computational cognitive science in general.

In my spare time I like to draw, watch North American sports, and listen to copious amounts of music. I’m also affiliated with the Out of Our Minds project at The University of Birmingham where I’m part of the research engineering effort for the group. If you speak an African language or are just interested in NLP for African languages, then consider joining this project.
